Werkx takes job seekers from applicant to finalist. No more wading through hundreds of resumes. Werkx pre-qualifies candidates so companies can hire faster. We partnered with Werkx to increase their website conversions & improve the usability of their responsive web app.
Design and Product Strategy Workshop
We kickstarted the project with a product design & strategy workshop, where we identified the key goals and outcomes of the project:
- Improve lead conversion for applicants
- Better match candidates with roles
- Make the candidate process fun
- Eliminate the need for resumes
Design Phase
To help improve conversions on the website, we recommended an overhaul to the website copy that better explained the benefits of using Werkx for both applicants and employers. We also recommended including case studies on the homepage that highlighted successes that employers have had with Werkx. Social proof is vital for websites, so we designed a new section at the top of the homepage to prominently display client logos.
For the web app, we redesigned the profile page to add visual interest and make it easier to parse the information. We also updated the app’s buttons, navigation, and tab labels to increase clarity.
We also completely redesigned the applicant tracking flow for employers to make it easier to see the applicants in your pipeline for each position posted.
